Singapore – November 24, 2009 – Datumstruct, Asia’s leading regional value-added distributor in technology products, today announced it will now be selling APCON’s INTELLAFLEX to its enterprise data centres throughout Southeast Asia including those in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
The INTELLAFLEX would allow users to monitor 10G networks using 1G tools, through its abilities to convert data rates between 1G and 10G. This feature will be especially helpful to telecommunication and financial data centres where packet loss.
This blade allows users to aggregate multiple data links from network SPAN, Tap or mirror ports, and filter and direct the desired traffic to specific monitoring devices. In this way, users are able to electronically share expensive monitoring devices (such as analysers and intrusion detection systems) – often across multiple locations – while preventing oversubscription and data loss.
